2021.12.06 11:14 KarolinaPet Activities to do for a couple at home?

Me and my boyfriend need something to do together, at home. And by this I don't mean something where we just sit next to each other and each of us blankly does the same stuff, but something where we can share our thoughts, ideas, where we can cooperate together, where we can connect emotionally, if that makes sense. Something like this. If anyone has any ideas, I'll be very glad.

2021.12.06 11:14 ishimura0802 Do you prefer underwear on the Batsuit or without?

I am between minds. Recently played Arkham Knight, while I love the V8 suit in the game, and its material/armoured look. It lacks the underwear and goes for a more professional style. I originally thought this was cooler, but I went back and finished Asylum and found the suit in that game to be a lot more charming.
Basically, when beating up thugs in Knight I felt a little bad. With underwear on the suit, I'm still making criminals eat through straws, but I'm wearing underwear on the outside, man, just feels a little more like they'll be alright in the morning/light in tone 🤷‍♂️

2021.12.06 11:14 RAB1803 "A few minutes of my time" -is this normal now?

I'm self-employed but regularly get "invitations" to apply for jobs. Sometimes I'll send in my resume if it sounds interesting to see what happens. I did that for a job last week, and this is part of the email I got back explaining to me how to continue their hiring process. All before the first interview. Tf, man? No wonder so many employers are desperate. The pay scale they sent was completely different than what I was originally told too. They sent me a follow up email this morning asking me to spend "a few minutes of my time" going through this process. Name of the company redacted.
There are four stages to our process which are evaluating different areas of your skill set. This allows us to qualify candidates and find the most suitable, talented and skilled people for the positions.
Step 1: Psychometric Assessment - Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test. This is a quick and effective way of highlighting the skill sets we are looking for, and will take a few minutes of your time. Detailed instructions are available on your application. A verification link has been sent to your email, please make sure to click on it to activate your account. In addition, if you are new to XXXXX you’ve also received a temporary password, use that to access your XXXXXX account after verification. If you already have an account this doesn’t apply, simply use your original credentials to log in.
Step 2: English Assessment - As a Global Company, all job roles include a 10 minute audio assessment to ensure the correct standard of English we are recruiting for. If not, then it will save you a lot of time.
Step 3: Skills Assessment - This is the first part of the hiring process that is role-specific and assesses your content knowledge. This stage takes approximately 20 mins.
Step 4: Real Work Step - Similar to Step 3, this is focussed on role-specific knowledge. The questions are based on real work scenarios and are your chance to be creative and go into detail. This stage can take several hours and you should plan your time accordingly.

2021.12.06 11:14 Captialist Are you able to type me?

Results I've gotten from other individuals: INFJ, ENTJ, ENTP, INTJ
I'd say I'm a semi-healthy individual.
I've answered MBTI questions on the other subReddit so I shall post them here. I would prefer if/when you come to a conclusion on my type to elaborate/explain. Although someone suggested INTJ for me on the other subReddit, they did not elaborate. As such, I am skeptical of their conclusion. I am not sure what flair is appropriate to use so I decided on test results. Alright, let's get to it.
I will try and make this as thorough as I can. However, ask away if you need further clarification.
"How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself?" I'm 21 and male. I'm ambitious, competitive, I've been called narcissistic along with self-righteous, prick, and pompous (all things I am not but I believe my words may come across as too strong for some). I make fair judgments though I'm not the most morally outstanding individual. I believe that two wrongs can make a right depending on the situation. I don't mind getting my hands dirty if it's the best, fastest, way to achieve something. However, I generally do not get my hands dirty, only when necessary. Despite being ambitious and having goals, I can be quite lazy and may procrastinate at times. Although, I am generally organized (though I don't put much importance in being organized, just the basics or necessities so I'm not the most organized person around and don't mind some messiness) and speak in an organized way - as in, a way others can easily understand what I want to get across, I can also speak in a complex way, dipping into metaphors and such to the point where people get lost but still understand the main idea of what I wanted to say. I'm not sure what else to say so I will conclude it here.
"Is there a medical diagnosis that impact your mental/comportamental stability somehow?" I was diagnosed with ADHD-inattentive type as well as Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized/Social Anxiety (despite coming off as a rude, expressionless, stand-off, and blunt child to others) as a child. I was questioned for Narcissistic Personality disorder but my mother was afraid it would affect me in some way so she would find a way to justify things so that I wouldn't get diagnosed or documented with said disorder. Though I should mention I can be quite charming when it is needed/necessary.
"Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it?" My parents were quite religious. Although I didn't entirely believe in it, I was very knowledgeable to the point of turning the tables on them whenever they tried to use it against me (aware of manipulation very early on) and went on to create my own version of the religion they raised me in, to then teach my version to my older sibling - who liked my way and I essentially raised them, years later my parents would appreciate it and started seeing me as a sort of figure for them to listen to or come to.
"What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not?" N/A
"If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?" No, I wouldn't feel refreshed. I wouldn't particularly like it. Despite being an introvert, I need mental stimulation that I gain by conversing with others. Having intellectual or deep conversations, useful conversations, gives me that.
"What is your relation with movement and your surroundings? For instance do you prefer a sport or outdoors event? If an outdoors event what is it? And why? If not what type of activities do you tend to engage in?" As a child, I used to be quite adventurous, took risks, and as my sibling described it, "I would go out and ventured into the world because I was observing and interacting with the environment to understand the structures in different settings regarding the people in it, and gaining insight from it." However, when I reached my teens, I became less interested in wanting to go outside and became somewhat of a shut-in, more interested in intellectual pursuits though they were more internet based. However, I still enjoyed going to places with rollercoasters for example or amusements during Halloween. Additional: I never liked taking part in sports or traditional outdoors events. My sibling and I would walk far from home often and explore hidden or dangerous areas. I'd say I'm not very active in the physical sense but my awareness to my surroundings isn't extremely bad though it needs a bit more work since I tend to be stuck in my head quite a lot, for example, as I'm walking, I may be thinking about things most of the time, and so I don't realize often that a car is headed my way. I tend to have trouble walking down streets. However, at the same time, I'd say I have good reflexes, able to adapt to situations, think on my feet (even if I may pause for a bit to think of something before I act), and I'm able to react to my environment appropriately at times, let's say, if someone was about to punch me, I'd see or sense it beforehand, I might not always react too quickly (since I'm thinking of what to do before I enact it), but I will still react/do something even if it may not go the way I wanted it to. Either way, I tend to be in my head most of the time even if I'm aware of my surroundings.
"How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?" I'm extremely curious and like to question a lot of things, wanting a deeper understanding. Although I certainly have more ideas that stay in my head rather than executing said ideas, I have been able to implement some or bring light to some of my ideas. I tend to be curious about how people in certain environments operate, how different structures can bring different effects, how people think, why people think a certain way, I ask a lot of "whys and hows" and then answer said "whys and hows", philosophical pursuits, etc. I major in psychology.
"Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?" I don't like or dislike being in a leadership position. However, I do tend to be ego-centric at times (so I may want to be in the leadership role, believing I was better suited than whoever was the leader at the moment) but it doesn't affect my leadership status or those I collaborate with because I'm aware of how I am supposed to act or approach people in certain situations - even if I am only putting on an act. I do think I would be good at being a leader but I would also like feedback so an advisor would be nice. I'm not entirely sure how to answer your last question. I suppose...although I would prefer to make most of the decisions and lay it all out, I wouldn't mind hearing other people's input if it was useful, insightful, or necessary. Once again, I am generally quite introverted so these aspects to my personality are quite confusing to understand at times.
"Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity?" I may have good reflexes but good coordination? I'm not sure. I do tend to bump into things that are right in front of me due to being in my head often or trip over things right in front of me due to the same reason. For example, if I had to learn how to dance, I wouldn't be the best at it but I could half-ass it to the point where it may be acceptable. I'm not sure if I enjoy working with my hands but when I have to fix things, my hands seem to know what to do and I am not able to explain how or why I was able to fix something unless I put some thought into it or paid attention to what I was doing. Whether it's a table, a computer, etc. Strangely...once again because I was thinking about something else because those activities tend to bore me but I'm good at it.
"Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer" As a teen, I was interested in art, yes. I used to take 2D and 3D art classes. Whenever I created something, it was always different than what people would generally do for the assignment so my work usually stood out and would be showcased often. Sometimes it was strange to others, sometimes it was aesthetically pleasing, it depended on the project, but I had outside of the box thinking I suppose. Although I am no longer artistic, I still appreciate art whether it's surrealism, realistic, grotesque, pop art, cartoonish, etc. I also tend to like art where there are double meanings and such behind it - though the message/interpretation is still cleahas a general main idea such as surrealism paintings. I don't like things to have too many interpretations. The process can be different but as long as people come to the same result, that's what I like.
"What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?" I'm usually looking at the future. I'm obsessed with "what should be" and "what could be" and I see in many ways regarding how things can easily be changed or improved - though most of my ideas would need to be implemented collectively. There are times where I may access the past to help me regarding the future. I'm not too present or in the moment - in my head a lot - but I can be when it requires my attention.
"How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?" I wouldn't mind helping others as long as they took my advice. My sibling and parents would state to others or whenever they decide to talk about me in front of me that I'm not good at being compassionate (though I am very good at reading other's especially lies) but I am good at offering solutions. I'd decide to help because I believe I'm the most competent at fixing other people's issues and I am usually correct 9 out of 10 times about something so I am quite reliable. However, if it's clear that giving someone advice or a solution to their problem won't help them or won't be beneficial in the situation, then I do not help and leave it to someone else.
"Do you need logical consistency in your life?" I do. I need things to make logical sense. If something can be continuously applied and in a large scale then I don't find it reliable. The information was to remain consistent even if it may have some minor tweaks or improvement to enhance it. I may like to dabble in different areas and listen to different takes/perspectives but I would still like for the logic to flow and for there to be a general take/perspective/interpretation even if the process may be different on how certain people arrived to that same conclusion. For example, a certain subject of math has different ways of doing it. I tend to create my own way, a more efficient, and easier way of understanding and doing it, but as long as my end result is the same each time, then I am not bothered by how I arrived to that conclusion as long as it remains consistent.
"How important is efficiency and productivity to you?" With efficiency, I suppose I prefer some things to be done in a reliable, fast, and easy way. I do like to plan and dislike surprises but even then, I am able to adjust. However, I don't think I'm too concerned about efficiency or productivity. Regarding productivity, I'm not too sure. I don't believe it's "important" though it's still something I visit in my thoughts, if some of my ideas are productive.
"Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?" Yeah, I have a tendency to control others. Most of the time it is direct but I may do it indirectly at times (or I suppose randomly and I don't catch it immediately). I order those around me and explain why/how I am ordering them to do something. I do it because I believe I am the best for it. I like to have stability and some structure in my environment or the household won't remain stabile/structured, if that makes sense. However, I don't self-impose them, I generally impose on others.
"What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?" I don't have many hobbies. However, some are walking, polishing my knowledge on subjects for my future career, writing, reading, taking part in debates. My hobbies generally provide mental stimulation as well as useful information excluding walking - this provides me with a bit of exercise physically as well as allowing me to relax mentally.
"What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?" I'm a visual (as in showing me visuals) + audio learner but then I want to try it for myself to see if I truly understood it. I struggle with a learning environment that is purely audio or hands on. I believe I'm not too bad with a visual learning style but I would like thorough explanations. However, I would struggle a bit if I cannot apply it myself and only learn it. I don't mind memorization, logic (as long as it remains consistent), creativity. I'm not too sure about the physical sense but I will say no at the moment.
"How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?" I'd say I'm decent at strategizing. My strategies may not always turn out as I visualized or thought in my head but I can make adjustments and the general or main idea of what I wanted is still implemented.
"What's important to you and why?" This question doesn't have much clarification so I may not respond in the way you may be looking for. Career wise, I want to impact or change things in a way that would change the way people thought or approached something. I want to be able to implement my ideas in a way that many could borrow from and use in a consistent way. I want it to be reliable and long lasting.
"What are your aspirations?" I suppose the same as my previous reply in addition to, I want to be successful on top of it.
"What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?" A few fears I have are: being alone (I am an independent individual but I do like to converse with others, people I find tolerable) and dying without impacting the world in a way. I am quite introverted and despite my personality, I do have anxiety being around others but it's not noticeable (I tend to come off as rude/stand-offish or snobbish - why? I have no clue). I hate hypocrisy or people complaining too much about themselves, their lives, without trying to improve it or making any effort.
"What do the "highs" in your life look like?" N/A
"What do the "lows" in your life look like?" I'm not sure. I'm the greatest when it comes to self-reflection especially in this particular regard.
"How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?" Yes, I'm aware of my surroundings most of the time but I am in my head often.
"Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?" Ironically, this might force me to self-reflect if I decide to pay attention to my surroundings and realize I won't be able to partake in any mental stimulation. However, if I do not get to that point, I wander in my thoughts, in the world I created (a consistent world I structured and maintained since I was young) or I dwell on future prospects.
"How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?" Not long. I weigh the options in my head and pick the best way or what I believe to be the best decision and run with it. I don't change my mind but I may make adjustments.
"How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?" If I have to, it takes awhile and I usually give up trying to understand or process them, pushing them away and using my mind to think about more productive topics or subjects as I tend to get slight irritated dwelling on them and I find it a waste due to being able to figure them out. Although I don't find it important in regards to myself (I find it a chore), it is important to know how to carry oneself in different settings. I'm quite good at interpreting other people's emotions and using it to my advantage, however.
"Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?" Yes but not to appease others. I do it to ease them or warm them up to me so that I can receive something beneficial that they possess in return. There is always something beneficial to gain from others. I believe people generally form bonds to gain things from others no matter what it is. Regarding how often, I'd say pretty often.
"Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why would you?" I believe that most rules, if it doesn't makes sense to break it, shouldn't be broken or challenged. However, I do break rules if it is beneficial or if it is necessary/needed/justified. I believe two wrongs can certainly make a right and sometimes that is necessary. I don't believe most authority should be challenged otherwise society would fall into chaos but if a certain authority figure can be challenged, as long as it's within reason.
"What is the ideal life, in your opinion?" My ideal life would be someone who is all-knowing, an authority figure, something many would look up to, someone who is successful, in a career I enjoy, someone who is intelligent, and someone with fair judgment (even if I may cross corners or create short cuts), etc.
Additional: I may be ambitious but I am certainly not an overachiever.
